This is the third time this event was run. Promoted by Mick Lawless and the Irish Road Club in Ballyduff, Co. Waterford. This event three years ago was the first mountain bike race in Ireland, thanks to the hard work put in by Mick Lawless and his relations who lived in Ballyduff.

The event was won by Robin Seymour of the MAD MTB club.

Mick Lawless sadly passed away in 2019, he was a tremendous worker for cycling in all it's forms and is greatly missed. On behalf of all the mountain bike community I would like to says thanks to Mick for his work over the years.
