Here are some pictures I took at the 1979 Dublin to Drogheda CP Road Race. This was one of the first races of the season which went over the Naul hills on the way back to the finish in Dublin.
This race was organised by Sam Darcy and the Irish Road Club.
These are a bit mixed, please don't contact me looking for pictures, I will post more pictures here when I get some spare time. Even converting the pictures on this page took a fair amount of time.

These pictures are posted in memory of the late Sam Darcy who came up with the idea for this race. It was a handicapped event to give all rider levels a fighting chance to get into the prizes. It was a very successful race for many years.
