Rás na mBan is delighted to announce our continued partnership with Pactimo ahead of the 18th edition of the event which gets underway from the Hoban Hotel in Kilkenny on Wednesday 4th of September.

There are six separate classification jerseys in Rás na mBan; the Magenta Jersey for the overall race leader, the Cycling Ireland Points Classification, the Wicklow 200 Queen of the Mountains, the Sport Ireland Best Young Rider, the Kilkenny County Council Best Irish Rider. and the Just-Print.ie Stage Winner’s jersey.

This is the fifth time the world renowned cycling clothing manufacturer has teamed up with Ireland’s premier stage race to present the leaders jerseys in the event.

The jersey design remains largely similar to last year's edition, with one key change. This year the jersey's will all carry the hashtag #Sharetheroad on the side panel, a campaign aimed at encouraging drivers and riders to share the road safely.

Commenting on the continuing collaboration, Pactimo Ireland’s Mandy Collie said, "Pactimo are delighted to be support Rás na mBan again this September in Kilkenny. It's one of the pivotal points in our calendar for the EU.

"We can inspire the next generation of cyclists coming through, whether it's a World Tour team, or a local race in the club league.

"Because the jerseys look so good on the girls and fit so well on them, then hopefully they really enjoy wearing it and that's what really matters to us."

Race Director Valerie Considine said, "The leaders jerseys are often one of the key visual trademarks of any stage race, and we are delighted that Pactimo continue to support the race for the Magenta jersey, and each of the leadering classification jerseys.

"The high quality and style of the jerseys reflect the mirrored values of Rás na mBan and Pactimo, and we are particularly happy to be able to include a special message on this year's jerseys to encourage all those who use the roads to do so responsibly and in a manner that respects everyone who might be using the road."

#Sharetheroad will be prominent throughout Rás na mBan's social coverage during the race, as well as featuring on the side panel of the jersey. The campaign hope to draw further attention towards road safety for all road users, with Rás na mBan alumni Gabriele Glodenyte who tragically passed away after a crash on a training ride in 2023, at the forefront of our minds.
