The organiser of next Sunday’s Irish cyclo-cross championship has told Irishcycling.com that he is encouraging entrants to complete the online sign-in for the event.
This can be completed by going to https://sites.google.com/site/irishcxchamps/home, and will mean that riders simply pay their entry fee on the morning of the race, thus speeding up the process.
The rescheduled championship will take place in St. Anne’s Park, Raheny. It was originally due to be held on January 10th but heavy snowfalls led to a change in date.
Sign on will open at 10.30 and runs until noon. A non-championship underage race will begin at 11.30, then a short track XC event at noon. This will be held for mountainbikers and cyclo-cross riders who are not eligible to ride the full championship event, and one-day licences will be permitted.
Full licences must however be used in the main race. According to the website, 2009 and 2010 licences are both eligible for the race. Those who have applied for their 2010 licence prior to January 3rd will be able to compete, even if the licence has not been issued by the race date.
