This was one of the Classic Races in Ireland during the 80's and 90's, it always attracted a top class entry, this event was run in north county Dublin, starting in Swords then travelling out to an 11 mile circuit which went up the 'Small Naul' climb on each lap then returning to Swords for the finish.
