DEIGNAN DUE TO RACE THIS SUNDAY

Scanlon’s team-mate Philip Deigan is due to return to racing in the GP Cholet on Sunday, a month and a half after he broke his collarbone.

The AG2R Prévoyance rider crashed during his first race of the season, the GP d'Ouverture La Marseillaise in France on January 31st, but his team feel that he is now ready to resume competition.

After the GP Cholet, he is due to take part in the Settimana Ciclistica Internazionale Coppi Bartali in Italy from the 21st to the 25th.

CYCLING LEINSTER TEAM FOR DOWNPATRICK ARMAGH CLASSIC RACE


Cycling Leinster have selected Conor Rochford (LCRC), Gary Heberlin (UCD), Tim O'Regan (Cycleways) and Sean Bracken (IRC) for the Downpatrick Armagh St.Patricks Classic Race on Sunday 19th March.

Famous sports clothing brand Le Coq Sportif confirmed that they will sponsor the Points Competitions of the Tour by providing the leaders/winners jerseys. The company whose rich heritage includes supplying leaders jerseys for the Tour de France will have a presence at the event with their UK & Ireland distributors Hedgehog Sports.

With over 100 entries received to date and a little under a month to go until the closing date, the Isle of Man International Youth & Junior Tour is set to be a real classic event.

Organisers of the Tour are also in talks regarding possible TV coverage of the event which takes place 28 - 30 April. Its hoped a local firm will film the Tour with it being screened later in the year on TV.

RACE RADIOS AVAILABLE FOR CLUBS
