2. Club: Carrick Cidona

3. GC: How did you get started in cycling?

    BK: A club league, back in ’87 or so, when Kelly was at his peak.

4. GC:  What was your first win?

    BK: The first league race, the first race I rode with Cidona.

5. GC: How often do you train?

    BK: Every day.

6. GC: Favourite training spin?

    BK: From Carrick, Ballymacarberry, Dungarvin, we do it all winter.

7. GC: Best result / performance to date?

    BK: I think my stage of the Ras, for me anyway gave me the most satisfaction and it was one of my best performances as well.

8. GC: Ambition in cycling?

    BK: To turn professional

9. GC: Favourite professional cyclist?

    BK: I think Bartoli, or Ullrich.

10. GC: Pet hates?

      BK: Guys sitting on, glass cranking.

11. GC: How do you relax?

      BK: Sitting down on the couch, watching TV

12. GC: Do you think 3^rd Cats should be re-introduced?

      BK: Ah no, I think it’s all right the way it is.

13. GC: Apart from Ireland, where have you raced?

      BK: Japan, Malaysia, France Belgium, Austria England ,Scotland , Isle of Man Wales.

14. GC: Who will be the next Irish rider to win a Tour De France stage?

      BK: I think Ciaran Power or Mark Scanlon, I think maybe Scanlon.

15. GC: Favourite race?

      BK: The Ras.

16. GC: Best rider you have raced against?

      BK: Gregorz Gwiazdowski, a polish guy, he was my teammate in ACBB in France, he won Grand Prix of Zurich last year.

17. GC. Have you tried mountainbiking?

      BK; No, never

18. GC: What makes you a good cyclist?

      BK: Dedication and training, nothing else.

19. GC: Would you let your kids take up the sport?

      BK: Ah, I would yeah, I think so.

20. GC: Describe yourself in one sentence?

      BK: Average cyclist, but dedication and training made me come around, but still a bit under ambitious, I think
