New Leader Eddie Keogh CidonaDublin Skip Gorey 3 day Stage 4 Eddie Keogh was the winner of the Gorey 3 day after the final stage finish in Britas Co Wicklow with second place Michael Dennehy (Kanturk) crashing in the final few miles and losing 28 seconds. The stage was won by veteran ex professional Bernie McCormack. Day 2, Stages 2 & 3 - Eddie Keogh took the overall lead after the 4 mile time trial in the morning stage of the Gorey 3 day with yellow jersey Michael Dennehy 33 seconds adrift. In the afternoon 60 mile stage which was won by Jonathan Malone, Keogh was safely tucked in the bunch at 29 seconds with all his nearest rivals. Day 1, Stage 1 Brittas - Gorey (71 miles) - Irish Junior Champion Michael Dennehy from Kanturk was the winner of the first stage of the Gorey 3 day. A 15 man break went clear at Aughrim and stayed together till it reached Gorey where it did a 3 mile loop which split the group, with Dennehy and Eddy Keogh leaving the group to have the finish to themselves.
