There away - only 19 riders starting this year

The race is 8 laps of a 11 mile circuit

After 9 miles - Paudi O'Brien leads a 4 man group

The chasers at 30 seconds

The field breaking up quickly - some riders retiring early

At 17 miles - the four leaders working well

Denis Lynch realises that break is gone for the day

The chasers at 45 seconds

At 28 miles - Denis Lynch is with the leaders

The chasers at 1 minute

Daniel Lynch leads at 36 miles

The chasers still trailing at close to 1 minute behind

The leaders at 44 miles half way point in race

The chasers start loosing time now

At 55 miles - the leaders

At 66 miles still 5 leaders together

A relaxed chase group now 4 minutes down

At 1 lap to go Denis Lynch leads

Conor Murphy with O'Brien trail at 40 seconds

The chasers loosing time on every lap now

Lynch come in to win on his own

Paidi O'Brien takes second with Murphy 3rd

Dan Curtin with his successful Kanturk riders
